Legally, the contract may be written or oral, according to the ordinary employment law. However, if it is a fixed-term contract of more than four weeks or if otherwise required by law, it must be in written form.
In the case of an oral contract, either party can request it to be written. If the contract is not in writing and exceeds four weeks, it is presumed to be for an indefinite period and full-time, unless the employer proves otherwise, as in any employment relationship.
