The prices range from about € 9,50 to € 15. Domestic helpers at Doméstico24 set their own hourly rate based on their experience and qualifications.

YES, even if you only have domestic service for a few hours a week, you must register with Social Security from the first hour of work and this is also the most important obligation for the employer. To contact domestic helpers, you need to be a premium member. Learn more about the many benefits of premium membership and our terms and conditions here: Prices and Conditions.

If you cannot send messages, please check if you have signed up as a domestic helper by mistake. If this is the case, please delete your account and sign up again. When doing so, select the option "I am looking for domestic help".

Are you finding only a few domestic helpers in your area? Don't worry. These steps will help you refine your search and find the right help faster. Here are a few tips on what you can do:

  • Expand your search criteria: Increase the search radius or use alternative postcodes. Many cleaners are flexible and willing to travel a certain distance.
  • Check your filters: Make sure that no filters are set that are too strict and limit the number of domestic helpers displayed.
  • Log in regularly: Potential cleaners can see when you were last online. Logging in regularly can help to show interest so that you are contacted directly by domestic helpers.
  • Contact our customer support: We'll support you in any way we can.

New users are added daily, we are sure that you will soon find the right domestic helper for you.

If you have signed up as a domestic helper by mistake, you must (1) delete your account and (2) sign up again.

(1) Delete account

To delete your account, proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to Doméstico24.
  2. Open "Settings".
  3. Click on "Delete account" at the very bottom.
  4. Confirm with "Ok".

Please note that your account will then be completely deleted and we will not be able to restore it.

(2) Sign up

When signing up, please select the option "I am looking for domestic help".

The premium membership is not a recurring subscription and ends after the booked period. After that, it reverts to the free basic membership. There are no further fees for you.

Job offers on Domestico24 are going through a multi-stage quality assurance process.

If you receive a message about a job offer that you have not previously applied for, you can assume that the person is a premium member. This means we have received their name, address, and payment details.

You can consider a job offer trustworthy if it meets the following criteria:

  • A detailed description of the desired activity is provided
  • The profile is fully completed

You can determine your own hourly wage based on your experience and qualifications.

The domestic helpers on Doméstico24 charge between 9,50 € and 15,00 € per hour. The hourly wage also varies depending on the region. Therefore, it is worth taking a look at the hourly wages of other domestic helpers in your area.

By the way: At Doméstico24 you do not have to pay a commission, as it happens with the cleaning agencies. You receive 100% of the hourly wage that you set and negotiate with your employer.

Yes, from the age of 18, the employer is obliged to register the employee with the social security. For more information, please read our articles on social security carefully.

After the successful initial contact, arrange an initial interview and an appointment for a trial visit. Inform someone that you know that you are making an initial visit to a potential employer and give the person the address. Stay safe.

If the trial work was successful, employment is the next step. The employer will take care of this. Record agreements such as salary level or holiday entitlement in a work contract.

You have successfully found jobs 🥳 and would like to switch back to basic membership?

No problem - you can cancel at any time. Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the link to your account.
  2. Log in to your user account.
  3. Select the [Membership] item.
  4. Now click on "Cancel Premium membership" at the bottom of the page.

Your Premium membership will then be automatically cancelled at the end of the term and no further charges will be made 📴. You can of course continue to use Domestico24 with the free 🆓 basic membership.

General questions

If you cannot log in:

  • Check whether you have entered your username correctly.
  • Pay attention to lower-case and upper-case letters and check whether caps-lock is on.

If you are still unable to log in, you can request a new password here.

  • The e-mail may be in your spam folder. Look in your e-mail account's spam folder and mark the e-mail as "Not spam".
  • You may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly during the registration process and the e-mail may have been returned to us. Register again and look out for typos!

No, we treat your data as confidential and do not pass it on. You will not be sent offers from third parties without your express consent.

How complete your profile is can often be the decisive factor. The more complete your profile is, the greater the chance that somebody will contact you.

  • Upload a photograph
  • Fill in your profile to the greatest extent possible
  • Provide more detailed information about yourself and the position to be filled

We also recommend that you answer advertisements yourself.

There could be several reasons for this.

  • Not everybody reads their e-mail every day, with some only checking their account once a week.
  • The recipient has already found an appropriate solution and has forgotten to deactivate his or her profile.
  • The recipient is on holiday.
  • Unfortunately the recipient is not sticking to our rules and is leaving messages unanswered.

To change your notification settings, proceed as follows:

  1. Log in at Homeservice24.ch
  2. Click on your e-mail address in the top right
  3. Select “My account”
  4. Click on “Edit”
  5. Deactivate/activate the option "Please notify me about new members in my area"

To delete your account, proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to Doméstico24
  2. open "My settings".
  3. click on "Delete account" at the very bottom.
  4. confirm with "Delete account".

Please note that your account is then completely deleted and we can no longer restore it.

To change your e-mail address, proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to Doméstico24
  2. open "Settings"
  3. click on "Edit" next to "E-mail address"
  4. enter the new e-mail address
  5. confirm with [Save]

You will then receive an activation link to your new e-mail address.

Please note, if your registration on Doméstico24 was made using the Google Login with your Google account, it is unfortunately not possible to change the e-mail address in your account. In this case, the only way is to delete your account and sign up again with a new account.
