There are some typical characteristics that can help you spot fraudulent job offers:
- Disproportionate offers: if a job offer sounds too good to be true (e.g. an extremely high salary for simple tasks), you should be wary.
- Requesting confidential data: Serious employers will never ask for immediate payments, bank details or other confidential information without a valid reason.
- Unusual communication channels: Scammers often try to quickly switch communication to external channels (e.g. personal email, WhatsApp, Telegram). For secure communication, we recommend keeping conversations within the platform.
- Paying to access the job offer: Please note that no payment is ever required to access a job offer. Payments are only made to access our Premium account, but never to access a specific job offer or to get a job. You can read exactly how it works Domestico24 here.
- Unusual job offers: Please note that activities such as call centre work, telecommuting and other similar job offers are not part of the Doméstico24 service offer. It is therefore very likely that these offers are fraudulent or at least suspicious.
