Do I need a work contract with the employer?

The contract may be written or oral, as is the case under ordinary employment law. However, if it is a fixed-term contract of more than four weeks or if required by law, it must be in written form. In the case of an oral contract, either party can request it to be written. If the contract is not in written form and exceeds four weeks, it is presumed to be for an indefinite period and full-time, unless the employer proves otherwise, as in any employment relationship.
